Anti-lock Braking System
(ABS) Nissan's Anti-lock Braking System with Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD) and Brake Assist (BA) helps the driver retain directional control while braking or turning. ABS optimizes braking performance by sensing wheel lock and sending a signal to the braking system to release the locked wheel. Nissan's ABS system individually applies and releases the brakes up to 20 times per second to help provide optimum stopping and control under extreme braking. |
